Even though I am in my 60’s I still set goals that are fueled by my dreams and I was wondering how many people reading my posts in any of my blogs understand the importance of setting GOALS and being Goal Setting Smart.
 
So what I have written is an outline for a quality product with far more precisions.

You Must FIRST DREAM the Impossible

When we were children we dreamt large dreams, we knew no boundaries and the sky was the limit!
True?
Have you ever asked yourself “What Happened To Those Dreams?”

What Next

Just sit down right now with a piece of paper and a pen or pencil and write down all the things you wanted as a child, most of us do remember some things, boys it was maybe a Fireman and girls maybe an Airline Hostess, whatever it was it was imprinted in your mind and you will be amazed at what you can recall.
 
The same way you learnt to count and learnt the alphabet as a child we retained an unbelievable amount of knowledge and of course part of that were our dreams we had.
 
So how did the list go?
 
I’m sure you remembered some of those childhood dreams, if not all of them.
Ok!
Now let’s reflect on what our goals are today for the future, if you already have some great, if not it’s time to start!
 
Every person who reads this even if you have set goals already should look at the following list, just so as to get some ideas on what type of goal to put down and “Why Set a Goal”.
Read this list carefully and choose what you consider to be relevant to you personally.
All your goals on your list must be tangible.
 
INITIALLY MAKE A LIST FROM EACH OF THE CATEGORIES:

PERSONAL GOALS:

Family – Quality family time
Financial – Look at ways to increase your income
Spiritual life – Personal choice
Health – Healthy life style
Marriage – Time alone together
Home – Plant a vegetable garden
Social – Take your family out for dinner once a month (Not KFC)

PROFESSIONAL GOALS:

Mentor – So Important To Your Success
Learning / Education – Home Study – Night Classes
Business – Begin Your Own Business
Investments – Investment Property
Promotions – Learn Techniques To Advertise Your Business

SELF DEVELOPMENT GOALS:

Improving Quality of Life – Reading Motivational Material
Physical – Exercise – Fitness
Spiritual – Personal Choice
Intellectual – Maybe Learn Another Language

MATERIAL GOALS:

Travel – Family Holiday – Second Honeymoon
Home – Purchase Your Own Home
Vehicles – Family Car or People Mover
Boats – Speed Boat – Yacht
Furniture – New Lounge Suite
Clothing – New Clothes
Jewellery – A Pearl Necklace
And anything else you want to add.
